MONROE COUNTY, Pa. — An iconic piece of the Poconos could be yours: heart-shaped tubs from Caesar’s Pocono Palace!
The new owners of the place donated several of them to Monroe County Habitat for Humanity Restore in Marshalls Creek.
The non-profit is raffling off items, with the first drawing scheduled for Labor Day. The proceeds will support Habitat’s ongoing home preservation and rehabilitation projects.
Monroe County Habitat for Humanity Executive Director Scott Fabian says, “Currently, we are working on 30 homes; we just completed one yesterday. And we have 72 on our waitlist, so we have a lot of homes to fix here in the Poconos and to rehab.”
Habitat for Humanity will raffle off another heart-shaped tub around Valentine’s Day. You can buy tickets here or at the re-store in Marshalls Creek.
