We appreciate your support for MCHFH’s programs, creating more safe & decent housing in 2022! Please give what you can today – your support makes a remarkable impact!

Last year, we completed Home Preservation projects for 30 families who were unable to undertake this necessary work on their own. We replaced roofs, windows, floors, appliances, and we built ramps for ease of access. One of those families we partnered with were Theresa and Curtis Loving from Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania. This local couple came to Habitat as they were both disabled and needed assistance with repairs to their roof. They found Habitat to be an answer to their prayers for help, and now the Loving home is a safe and secure haven.
In 2022, we’ve set a goal of completing 30 Home Preservation projects, despite the continuing constraints of COVID-19. Completing these projects, however, requires the help of the entire Monroe County community. Our volunteer builders and site supervisors freely give of their time and work efforts. Our partner families make a sweat equity investment of long hours. And now we’re asking you to donate to Monroe County Habitat for Humanity to help us fund these critical Home Preservation projects.
This past year has shown us that our most vulnerable families suffer disproportionately from unsafe housing. It compels all of us at Habitat to do more to offer hope to our neighbors who need safe, sustainable homes in which to raise their families. Our work is only possible with your help, and we are so fortunate that friends like you share our dedication to helping our neighbors in need. Your contribution will allow us to fulfill our vision of providing affordable, safe housing for partner families such as Theresa and Curtis Loving. We – and the families who benefit from your support – thank you.
